The Location

Snowdonia National Park is a beautiful place and lends itself perfectly to rock climbing, mountaineering and hillwalking. One of the best things about the mountains of North Wales is the variety, offering a wealth of experiences, whatever your level of expertise.

Climbers can enjoy numerous different rock types, from sunny cragging at Tremadog to adventurous sea cliffs at Gogarth, the friendly slabs of Ogwen to the rugged mountain crags of the Llanberis Pass, each having it’s own character and climbing style.

Mountaineers will love the rugged, rocky peaks of the Glyderau and Snowdon Massif, perfect for scrambling, while the more rolling hills of the Carneddau or the Nantlle ridge offer a hillwalker’s dream.
